Many of you have asked about how Extrovert came to be and the answer is pretty straightforward. A former SDR turned Enablement Manager and a former SDR turned RevOps Manager saw what could happen when best practices across management, operations, and enablement came together.
After supporting a highly successful Sales Dev Org, our careers took us to some of the world’s best SaaS companies where we picked up on and contributed to many of the best practices in the world of Sales Development. The more we learned, the more we saw just how critical it was to bring Data, Technology & Automation, Process, and Enablement together in a complimentary fashion in order to build a seamless XDR Flywheel. XDR supporting functions working together is crucial for helping the engine to run smoothly. Through helping other companies in consulting and full-time roles, it also became apparent to us just how many organizations struggled to bring these pieces together.
So it is with that purpose in mind that Extrovert was born. We will strive to be a community and thought leadership institute geared toward sharing content and making resources for XDRs (meaning any and all Sales Development roles) and the supporting operational/organizational functions that participate in XDR work (Enablement, Operations, ABM, Demand Gen, Leadership, Sales etc.)
Our mission is three-fold:
Help XDRs progress in their careers through connection, information and mentorship
Give voice to thought leaders and practitioners that are driving efficient pipeline creation practices
Create content to share best practices to help organizations everywhere to optimize pipeline creation
Now as a self-proclaimed introvert I am sure I can’t be the only person wondering….why call this community Extrovert?
The answer is simple. An Extrovert can be characterized as someone who gets energized by being around other people. And that is exactly what our goal is with this community.
Extrovert is a place you can come to recharge your batteries. Whether that’s through finding a great new best practice that will help you be successful, meeting like-minded professionals that can understand the successes and challenges of your role, or preparing for your next career move we hope that Extrovert is a valuable resource in leading you to success. And our goal is to help you do just that!
So if you’re a brand new XDR wanting to learn the basics or a seasoned veteran looking to make the next step in their sales journey, Extrovert is for you. If you are a leader trying to find new ways to optimize your organization and up-level your team, Extrovert is for you. If you’re a RevOps or Enablement professional, if you’re a sales rep wanting to partner with your XDR more effectively, or if you’re simply someone who wants to be connected to the world of Sales Development, Extrovert is for you.
So welcome! We can’t wait to get to know each of you and give you space to grow in our community in whatever way you choose.
